Dallas – Cedar Hill Councilman Wade Emmert continues his “Run With a Reason” series on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. at Bachman Lake. This week, Wade runs in honor of National Parents Day (celebrated on July 27th).
“Parents are the foundation of our society. They rear the future generations of business, political, and cultural leaders,” Wade Emmert said.
Wade, a father of two young boys, goes on to say: “No job is more important than that of being a dad.”
A parent himself, Wade knows firsthand the issues most important to parents: good schools, neighborhood safety, and efficient public services. Wade understands that all parents want their children to have a better life than the one they had.
Parenting is a full-time job and the achievements and challenges of parents ought to be recognized more than twice a year (on Mother’s and Father’s Day). To join Emmert and to celebrate National Parents Day, meet him at Bachman Lake on Wednesday, July 29th. To learn more about our “Run With a Reason” series visit http://www.WadeEmmert.com.
