Retail Boom in Metroplex

This is a good time for retail in the Metroplex. Currently, there is 153 square feet of retail in the DFW area with an average of 90.5% occupancy - this is second best occupancy rate in 15 years. With 38 submarkets in the DFW area, 21 show an occupancy rate of more than 90%.
In Dallas submarkets, occupancy rates are as:
- Frisco/McKinney — 98.3%
- Cedar Hill - 98.2%
- Rockwall - 97.5
- Park Cities - 96%
2005 will continue to be strong in retail.
